Process and planning

How we plan your regular courier route

  1. 01

    Describe the requirement

Tell us the sites, shipment types and frequency. A detailed stop list can follow.

  2. 02

    Agree stops and time windows

We align collection readiness, receiving points, access and required delivery windows with you.

  3. 03

    Check vehicle and capacity

Package count, dimensions, weight and special requirements are checked for each site.

  4. 04

    Agree the quote and process

Confirm scope, operating days, returns and how changes will be handled before the route starts.

  5. 05

    Run the confirmed route

Prepared shipments are collected and delivered at the agreed points.

  6. 06

    Report handovers and exceptions

Apply the agreed documentation and process for unavailable recipients or other exceptions.

Illustrative workflow: three sites prepare documents in the morning. An agreed round brings them to the central mailroom; agreed return consignments go back to the branches. This is a planning example, not a customer reference.

Your needs and our approach

When recurring transport takes too much organising

Find the situation that matches your needs. The actual delivery arrangements are agreed before order confirmation.

Working methods and handover

Clear agreements for recurring transport

A route plan covers more than the road journey. It connects shipment quantities, receiving points and responsibilities for each stop.

Plan before starting

Agree sites, operating days, time windows and handover points before the first run.

Name responsible contacts

Identify who reports changes and who is reachable at collection and delivery.

Handle changes explicitly

Extra stops, waiting time and increased quantities are not unlimited included services.

Agree feedback

A handover record is available. Agree the required details and exception process for your route.

The planned road vehicles have a maximum authorised mass of up to 3.5 tonnes. This is not their payload. Shipment dimensions, actual payload, loading assistance and access are checked for the job. A recurring arrangement does not automatically promise the same driver, replacement capacity or on-demand extra runs.

Recurring requirements

Daily transport or fixed weekdays?

Frequency and duration follow the actual requirement. These models are options to discuss, not promises of available capacity.

Working days or selected days

A confirmed route on agreed working days, selected weekdays or a weekly schedule. For parts suppliers: regular parts deliveries to workshops.

Temporary regular routes

A recurring requirement during a project or site change, with agreed start and end dates.

Recurring call-off requests

Individual journeys within an organisational arrangement, with each run agreed separately.

Changes and order references

Report new stops, holidays, quantities or returns early. Agree invoice references and a clear scope of work.

Trade and dental routes

Construction and material deliveries cover supplier release and unloading. Practice routes for dental laboratories connect prepared work, practice reception and returns.

Costs and quote conditions

What determines the price of a regular route?

Frequency, distance, number of stops, time windows, load volume, weight, waiting time, unloading work and returns determine the quote. The hero calculator is for individual journeys, not a monthly or framework contract price.

An enquiry or calculation is not an order confirmation. Availability, scope and special requirements are checked beforehand.

Local planning

Regular routes in Frankfurt and Rhine-Main

Our business is based in Frankfurt. Routes into the Rhine-Main area are assessed against distance, receiving times and capacity.

A campus is not a receiving point

Goethe University has sites including Westend and Riedberg. A proposed route there needs the campus, building and receiving point for each stop. Other institutional requirements are assessed separately.

Agree vehicle access and loading points

Restricted roads and pedestrian areas require a check of actual access conditions. Tell us about permitted access and loading points; no special access rights are assumed.

Additional journeys

When a shipment cannot wait for the next round

Collection, destination and timing are assessed separately. Choose document transport for individual documents or direct transport for other suitable goods.

Good to know

Questions about scheduled courier routes

Can you take over an existing route?

Send the stops, quantities, time windows and current process. We assess whether and to what extent it can be taken over.

Can a route run on selected weekdays?

Yes. The days are agreed against the specific route and available capacity.

Can collection and delivery stops be combined?

A route can contain both. The sequence and load on each leg must work together.

Can documents and materials travel together?

Suitable separately packed shipments can be planned together. Describe their type, dimensions, weight and requirements first.

What do you need for a quote?

Starting and destination areas, frequency, shipment types, stops and preferred times. A detailed stop list can follow.

Is there a standard monthly price?

We quote the specific route. There is no general monthly or per-kilometre promise for arbitrary routes.

Can containers and returns be collected?

Yes, when their scope, condition, collection point and return destination are agreed.

How are extra stops or volumes handled?

Report them before the run. Feasibility, vehicle requirements and any extra cost are agreed again.

What if a recipient is unavailable?

The agreed exception process applies. Provide a contact for queries; unapproved drop-off is not assumed.

Are urgent additional runs possible?

We assess the specific request against availability. They are not automatically included in a recurring arrangement.

Can you connect public-sector sites?

Suitable goods transport between agreed departmental sites can be requested.

How is a handover confirmed?

A handover record is available. Required information and feedback are agreed for your route.

Can regular routes be temporary?

A limited period can be agreed. Provide the start, expected end and any exceptional operating days.

Which shipments need special assessment?

Unusual dimensions, high weight, sensitive contents or temperature requirements should be raised early. This does not imply dangerous-goods or specialist services.
